Choose devices separately
Configure mouse and trackpad independently. Classification uses public scroll and gesture information; unusual drivers may behave differently.
Choose mouse and trackpad settings separately, including horizontal and vertical axes. Adjust the mouse-wheel step or pause adjustment from the menu bar.
Public downloads are not available yet. The official Mac App Store link will appear here when ready.
Send the same downward scroll input to each device and watch how the content moves.
Choose whether to reverse, then press the button. This web demo does not change system settings.
Mouse and trackpad directions can differ, and each axis can be set separately. Check permissions, then test with your devices to find a setup that works for you.
Configure mouse and trackpad independently. Classification uses public scroll and gesture information; unusual drivers may behave differently.
Reverse only the axes you choose, preserving the original values on other axes.
With system Natural Scrolling enabled, apply natural trackpad and non-natural mouse scrolling while preserving wheel-step and other preferences.
0 preserves the system default. Values 1–100 apply to supported ordinary mouse-wheel unit ticks; continuous scrolling and trackpads retain their original step.
Enable, pause, or quit from the menu bar, with optional login startup and menu bar visibility.
Optionally leave software-generated scrolling unchanged. Preferences for 12 interface languages are saved separately from scroll configuration.
The top of the page shows the main switch, system natural-scrolling setting, and both permission states. Below, select mouse or trackpad and horizontal or vertical axes. Each switch acts only on the selected device or axis.
With system natural scrolling on, apply the common preset for a natural trackpad and a non-natural mouse. Adjust ordinary wheel steps if needed; 0 keeps the default and does not change continuous trackpad steps.
To keep natural scrolling on the trackpad and the opposite direction on the mouse wheel, first confirm that system Natural Scrolling is on, then apply the common preset. It reverses the mouse, leaves the trackpad unchanged, and selects both horizontal and vertical axes.
Read the same long page with the trackpad and then the mouse. Next, check a horizontally scrollable area. The preset provides a starting point: it does not change the system preference or reset your wheel step. Both permissions and the actual running state still need checking.
If one wheel notch moves too little through a long article or too far through a table, adjust the ordinary mouse-wheel step. This example uses 6 lines with vertical reversal only; the right value for you needs a practical check.
0 preserves the system default. Values from 1 to 100 apply to supported ordinary wheel notches; continuous scrolling, momentum, and trackpad input keep their existing step behavior. Change one setting at a time and compare the test grid with your everyday apps. Check for duplicate processing if another mouse driver or direction tool is also active.
Open the separate Test Scrolling window from the main interface. Its grid scrolls horizontally and vertically, with numbered positions that make movement easy to follow.
Try the mouse, then the trackpad, checking both axes separately. Change only the needed setting and test again in the same window. The test view helps inspect behavior; it does not establish compatibility with every device.
App settings bring login launch, menu bar visibility, and compatibility options together. For remote work, exclude scrolling generated by other software to retain its original direction and distance.
Enable or pause from the menu bar; pausing or quitting stops scroll changes. Settings can be reopened after hiding the icon. Login launch depends on system approval.
On the Language page, follow the system or choose one of 12 interface languages. Your choice applies immediately and is saved, so device, direction, and permission messages remain easy to understand.
Interface language and scrolling settings are stored separately. Switching language retains your selected devices, axes, and step size, without requiring setup again.
Enable System Settings → Trackpad → Scroll & Zoom → Natural Scrolling first. The app can open that settings pane but does not change the system preference for you.
Allow Input Monitoring and Accessibility in System Settings, then return to the app to check both states.
Select devices, axes, and step size, or use the common preset. Open Test Scrolling and check both axes with your mouse and trackpad. Pause and compare if needed.
A mouse wheel and a trackpad are used differently. Separate device, direction and step settings make more sense than repeatedly changing one system option.
A few things before you begin
Mac App Store distribution is being prepared. There is no public download yet. The current version is a 1.0.0 development preview; store links, pricing and dates will be confirmed at release.
Input Monitoring and Accessibility are granted separately. They allow scroll-input recognition and scroll-event adjustment. Missing permissions or unavailable control are shown as not yet active.
No. It reads that preference and offers a link to System Settings. The preset assumes Natural Scrolling is already enabled and does not write system preferences.
The current event handler targets scroll-wheel events. It does not read typed text, screen content, or the clipboard, and has no account, telemetry, or in-app automatic updater. Scroll processing and preferences stay on your Mac; see the Privacy Policy.
No universal compatibility is promised. Public gesture phases, momentum data, and source identifiers affect classification and exclusion. Magic Mouse, third-party drivers, remote control, and different macOS versions need real-device checks.
Pause adjustment or quit the app. Local configuration may remain for next time. Manage login startup and system permissions separately.

No. 0 keeps the system default; 1–100 applies to supported ordinary mouse-wheel unit ticks. Trackpads and continuous scrolling retain their original step size. Test unusual drivers or devices directly.
Yes. Follow the system or choose one of 12 interface languages. This changes interface text without changing your scrolling settings.
